Our fall pruning and removal schedule is filling up fast. Get in touch with us soon to schedule your fall/winter pruning. The dormant season is an excellent time to work on trees. Benefits include:
- No chance of infection by disease caused by open pruning wounds
- Better visual access to the trees structure
- Less impact on surrounding vegetation and landscape
- When plants are pruned while dormant, less energy is removed from the plant resulting a flush of well directed growth in the spring
Elms may only be pruned while dormant to prevent the spread of Dutch Elm Disease. Elm pruning season begins October 1st
