The high winds on Thursday night resulted in some storm damage that was apparent by Friday morning. We got a call from am apartment in the beltline area of downtown Calgary about this tree that had fallen on the hood of the car owned by one of the residents.
Luckily we were able to remove enough weight that when we tied off the stem to a nearby tree, we were able to lift it off to the point that car was able to move out from underneath it. With the car out of the way we were able to complete the removal of the rest of the fallen stem. Another stem of the tree was also removed as it was apparent that it had also shifted and failure was imminent.
